Assistance provided to the Daughters of Saint Paul

In response to a request from the Daughters of Saint Paul, Council 459 stepped up to meet their request for supplemental funding. Assembly 2204 under the able direction of FN Sir Bill of Beach also supported the cause. Suffuient funding was provided to meet their immediate need to print vocational and prayer support material for the National Catholic Youth Conference (https://ncyc.us/). About 20,000 young people typically attend this event from all over the country! This year, the event is taking place in Indianapolis Nov. 20-22.  The Daughters of St. Paul are running the chapel for this event. They host times for communal prayer (Rosary, Divine Mercy Chaplet, Morning and Evening Prayer, etc.) but one of the most important things they do is provide young people a place to pray before our Lord in the Blessed Sacrament during the three-day conference. This means having resources for them as they come in to pray and vocational resources available for them throughout the day. The Council has made this possible.
