Council 459 excelled in the annual Polar Plunge to benefit Virginia Special Olympics. Our team was under the direction of the Plunge Commander, Gaston Reboredo who was joined by John Kim, Jim Burkart, Zach Waters, Terry Riley and Eric Latcheran. The Council placed second with $6,891 in donations. Team member Eric Latcheran was #4 overall in individual donations while Zach Water placed #6 overall in individual donations.

Thanks to the team and the intrepid spectators for coming out on Valentine’s Day. There is still an opportunity to contribute at Plunge2026.
