The Knights of Columbus, Potomac Assembly 2204, welcomes the parishioners to join in the Patriotic Rosary, for the Consecration of our Nation, on Saturday, July 4th – the 250th Anniversary of our Country. The Patriotic Rosary will be at the Basilica of St Mary starting at 11:00am.
The Patriotic Rosary is a powerful prayer for divine protection and mercy for the United States. It dedicates one Hail Mary, in the traditional Catholic Rosary, to each state of the United States and asks God’s protection of and guidance for the nation. There are readings from some of America’s key founders at the end of each decade.
